Friday 22nd July This morning we had decided to go to the Palais du Luxembourg and the surrounding gardens. A couple of trains later we arrived at a Metro Station that was close by the southern entrance to the park. We stopped off for a coffee (€9.20) and then wandered past the most lovely shops. Thursday 21st July We decided this morning that we were going to have lunch out and then dinner in. We had an idea that we would head north on our Metro and we got off at Marcadet Poissonniers. We were looking for a La Poste shop and walked south towards the Gare du Nord. Along the way we encountered shop after shop selling cell phones and computer shops. Wednesday 20th July We had to get up early this morning as we had to get across town to the Fat Tyre Bike Company’s offices to hook up with our bike trip to Versailles. Tuesday 19th July Last night after we got home from dinner we did some washing. We have a front loader machine that also dries the wash if you want it to. We didn’t so just put it on to wash.
