Arrived in Picton early evening, we used is as a stop to catch the 7am. ferry but it is a lovely wee place, should have made an effort to get here sooner.My main mission here is to say hello to Pat´s daughter but the shop she has is closed,other shops are closed too, one of the shop owners is getting married today so they were all at the wedding.

There is a large Scottish influence here, we went to the Hairy Haggis pub/restuarant for our tea,we were there for hours the owner came from Dundee but spent a lot of time in Alison´s part of the country, he went away to get his photo albums, his wife came in she is from Glasgow she had just been home and she took her sister and mum to Pettycur Bay caravan park for a wee break!!

They know Donna( Pat´s daughter) her husband had just left the pub so they said they would talk to them for us, I put a wee note through the shop door anyway.

Up early this morning,it´s not a nice morning either hope it clears for the sail over, see you in the North Island.
