Hallo!
I thought I would get a chance to write something while Steven isn't hogging the computer
So far so good. My first experiences of hostels have been better than expected, very clean and spacious. Transport has been a breeze as well, however sites are best viewed on foot. We have walked what feels like a hundred miles! Germany has been a great country. I have to say my fave place has definately been Berlin,it has a buzz about it different from elsewhere. However my view could be slightly inflenced by the sunshine we had there. I think we need to find somewhere with mountains next to good sunny beaches for us both to enjoy. I am missing the sea air and sand. Still there is plenty time for that also.
So, tomorrow we leave in the morning for Salzburg. I'm excited, although I am preparing for even colder temperatures. I think the cheery Sound of Music songs should keep me happy though, there are so many! They have always kept me going; even climbing Snowdon in the freezing cold when I was younger. Steven may get sick of hearing them! Salzburg for 3 nights then into the alps further for another 3, to be among the mountains for Steven's Birthday. He's thinking of doing archery, I'm liking the look of the thermal baths.
Thanks for all your comments, keep them coming.
Ganz viel liebe! x x x
