It is absolutely true that they eat anything and everything here in vietnam. Out trekking we were spoiled by having cooks who got vegertians, back in the big city, this is not the case. The head line item was one of many on a street bar menu, which included such delights as miscellanious fried chicken ovaries and pig penis.. I have also turned down the chance to sample big eel (cooked in several styles), snakes head soup, and fried snakes head, and a rare moment of almost vegetables, egg-plant served with chicken gizzard. The meat stalls are best passed by very quickly, especially for the Fido lovers amost us! As I head further down south, there will be more fish and prawns, until then I'm really hoping for a farewell meal to my first group of fied noodles and vegetables without any disgusting chicken body parts!
