I left work yesterday into the grey grizzly weather and reflected that I was in the Cook Islands in the sunshine this time last year! Have booked a week in Egypt in mid-Jan to preserve my sanity. It's cold, wet and miserable in London so despite what sounds like a gruelling trip, you may well find coming home a tad depressing in more ways than one. But it will be great to see you.
