We have landed in Bali! Thankfully managed to get checked in to the hotel at 1am. Today we took a walk to the beach but on the way we passed the water park. I'm sure we will be going there soon! The beach was really pretty it had massive waves so we sat down and watched all the surfers in the sunshine. We cannot believe how cheap it is here feels even cheaper than Asia which is crazy. We went to the water park and thankfully it was much better than Singapore and Tom loved it! We've spent the last five nights in a room with cockroaches and baby lizards which has been lovely! Our bathroom was hideous I can't even describe the smell but that's all part of travelling! We had a night out and ended up in one of the main clubs in Kuta which had a roof top club and bar which was amusing. I do have a video of Tom busting some moves so hopefully I will be able to update that soon. We are going to be staying here for another week as we really like it the beach is so pretty and it's so nice for surfing we are going to rent a body board and attempt some waves in the next couple of days. So we are still in Bali! We haven't had any wifi and I've been Ill for the past five days so we haven't been able to do much! Not sure how I managed to get a cold and a chest infection in this heat but it happened! Feeling much better now and finally got back in to the sea today and had some fun in the waves. We booked online for a dorm and they completely messed up and upgraded us to a deluxe room at a different hotel with a beautiful pool in the centre of everything! We have decided to go to the Gili Islands for a week tomorrow. We have booked a mini bus and a ferry which takes only 3 hours to get to some beautiful little islands. We are back in Bali! After a lovely ferry and mini bus journey back from the island we decided to stay at the same hostel as it was so cheap and central location. We went and got a foot massage which cost £2 each for an hour. Half way through I heard Tom and the girls laughing I opened my eyes and the air conditioning was leaking on Toms head! Just his luck! Today mr sunshine wasn't out so we went to the cinema as Tom really wanted to see an animation which was actually really good. After the cinema we went to the beach and hired a boogie board which was amazing! The waves are so big and strong here we got some videos of us both on it. I tried impressing Tom by diving under a wave but instead I ended up face planting the wave and it made a sound like a belly flop does whoops! We both fell in love with the sea. Tom saw a guy that looked like he was boogie boarding then we realised he didn't Ben have a board so of course Tom attempted to do it. After a few failed attempts he actually managed to surf on the waves without a board! It did look really funny and one he did people started clapping at him! Cringe!
