Sunday: We awoke around 7:30 and packed up the car quickly to get back onto the Great Ocean Road and see some of the sights along the way. Our first stop after leaving Apollo Bay was Maits Rest Rainforest Walk (from the previous night). We took the 0.8 km. trail around some very amazing trees and streams and headed on down the highway toward the 12 Apostles. We stopped the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge was were absolutely stunning! It was starting to get cold and drizzly so we got back in the car to head toward Mt. Gambier and South Australia again. It was a very long drive on Sunday to make it back to Adelaide where we spent the night with our good mate, Chance to be able to see some of Adelaide on Holiday Monday (the Queen's Birthday).
