We got up early and frantically packed up the house, all of our bags, cleaned up and left by 9:00 for the airport. Lisa was there early to help us out and drive us to Adelaide to drop our bags off at Ronnie's Mom's house in Adelaide and then get to the airport to catch our plane to Denpasar, Indonesia. I was bittersweet saying good bye to Clare and the Mid-North region that was our home for an entire year. We went though all of the places that we'll miss and the places we wouldn't! The plane was on time and despite sitting in front of a very inconsiderate bogan family, we made it there safe and sound. The humidity immediately hit us like a wall when we stepped off the plane and made our way to our hotel, the Dynasty Bali. We settled into our room and went for dinner in the hotel restaurant where a band came to our table and asked for any requests. I immediately requested Layla and they played it for us...very cool. We were exhausted so went up to bed to prepare for exploring Bali the next day.
