We planned to get the 12.42pm train to Vienna, and the apartment owner was supposed to drop us off at the station. Today I woke up feeling refreshed! We had cereal for breakfast and found out that today would be 40 degrees so we were dreading it (well I was really dreading it! I don't do heat well!) We decided to have lunch at the apartment before heading out to see Bratislava castle. As soon we finished our lunch, we walked to Bratislava castle and it was really hot! Didn't need to get up too early. Had our usual breakfast and our usual sneakily making sandwiches for our lunch. Arrived at the station to find our train was delayed by 40 minutes, then the train was 'on time' but then only to find out that our carriage to Bratislava was delayed by 70 minutes! While waiting we met a nice deaf man from Norway, who was heading to Bratislava too! We spoke to him for a while before getting to our seats. The seats were FINALLY comfo...

We woke up at half 8 for breakfast and we were impressed with choices we had! It was a buffet breakfast so we were able to eat well and we even managed to make our lunch. We went to old town again, they had a market so we had a look and we found few lovely art pieces. We even decided to purchase two of them! We headed to the Charles bridge and it was a long bridge! It was filled with small stalls of portraits drawings, art, jewelries and some souvenirs things...

The night train was horrible. The compartments had 8 seats, so it was crammed! So we had a very poor night sleep, the fact 1 man kept going in and out and moving all the time didn't help! After 10 long hours we finally arrived in Prague. First impressions were not good as when I went to the toilet I saw a dodgy man cleaning his knife! We had a good couple of hours before we were able to check into the hotel so we found a cafe and had croissants, looked at a map...
