Despise the compartment being much better than than the other night train, Molly did not sleep at all! She also came down with a sore throat, so she had a really uncomfortable night. While I slept half of the journey.
It was a massive relief for Molly when we arrived after a very long 12 hours journey for her. As we got out of the station, Venice was exactly as I imagined. River, buildings right next to it and the Gondola passing by. I was certainly looking forward to explore the city. Molly just wanted to go and sleep, which was definitely understandable.
We got a coach to the hostel which was just outside the city. When we arrived, I was impressed with it! The swimming pool was lovely, and it even had its own restaurant and supermarket! As we arrived so early, 9am, we just relaxed and had our breakfast.
After a relaxing morning, Molly had her interview with a college. Which went very well as she successfully got a place!! She was ill when she did the interview, impressive! We headed straight to the tent as soon as we were allowed to. We unpacked and finally were able to wash our clothes as there was a laundry room! Got into our swimming clothes and relaxed by the pool and swam for a bit. Molly needed to sleep so she planned to have a quick nap. I played on my iPad and decided to closed my eyes, and then the next thing I felt was Molly waking me up and saying it was 8.30pm!! Oops!
We headed over the the restaurant to eat and went to the supermarket to buy few things before heading back and chill for the evening.
