Helloooo,

Don't know what to say, been a pretty uneventful past week and a bit. Most days have been us trying to get a job but being very unsuccessful. Will still has his other job, says every morning i'm going to go in but then forgets to set an alarm and doesn't bother... Quite frustrating.

Thursday 27th i got fired from 2evolve as i didn't reach my target for that day (the only day i didn't reach my target). Felt sorry for Andy the team leader who had to let me go because I could tell that he genuinely didn't want to do it because we got on really well and I really kept the energy of everyone in our team high which is exactly what he wanted.

Sunday me and Jacob went down to the pool (Will didn't come because he was being so lazy). We were kicking the ball around the pool when I accidentally cut my little toe on a cracked tile. By cracked I mean it was completely smashed and had very sharp edges. As soon as I did it I had a look at my toe and saw that the cut had gone right to my bone!! Really really deep but not as painful as I thought. I went to the shower at the swimming pool to rinse it with cold water for 20 minutes whislt Jacob went back up to get Will and my first aid kit. I started to get really sweaty and dizzy!

We decided that I should go to the hospital because it was really deep and wouldn't stop bleeding. I hobbled down the road with the other two and saw two policemen who I cheekily asked for a lift to the hospital... They said no unfortunately!

We got in a taxi and i was seen straight away at the hospital. 3 stitches!! I was really looking forward to them because I'd never had them before. Now i can say I have had stitches in the oldest hospital in Australia. Result!

Everyday after that was the same; look for jobs in the day, do work for AZ on my laptop and then relax watching TV at night.

On the following Sunday I was woken up by Jacob surprising me and Will by bringing loads of blankets and sheets from the hostel he worked out! Legend!!!

So yeah that's everything up to date. We've given our two weeks notice and are planning on going to Melbourne in two weeks after Will's birthday when he will have some money and has paid me back. We are going to keep looking for jobs here in Sydney over those two weeks but if we are unsuccessful we will move on to somewhere else we haven't looked for work. Don't know about Will but I am looking for work as soon as we get there, I don't like the feeling of maybe going home without travelling due to us not having any work or money.

We were also toying with the idea of buying a multiflex pass for our flights and pushing both the flight to NZ and the flight back home back by a month or so that we can work longer. Maybe even stay in NZ longer. We really weren't expecting to be in Australia this long and not have a stable job.
