This past Sunday a poetry reading was held at The Paper Mill Theatre with recitals from the works of Janko Karsai of Vancouver and Elenka Cmarkova of Banska Bystrica. It was a lovely event with Slovak dignitaries from throughout Canada in attendance.

 
On Wednesday, me and my Elenka took Elenka and Slavka to Niagara Falls. We went to the Butterfly Conservatory, did a walk behind the falls and had a nice little walkabout around the Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Clothing was almost purchased by all in attendance. 
 
 
Last night, Slavka went out for a backyard adventure and was greeted by our raccoon, Rocky. Slavka screamed so loudly she scared poor Rocky half to death.
