After an interesting nights sleep sleeping next to Claudius the thunder god, another early morning was guaranteed!
After Tom woke we packed and headed into the city to try and do these photos. All was going well, and even had time to speak to Hannah and mum before Internet decided not to work anymore..
After we had a Hungarian sausage which I'm sure Laura would have approved of. Haven't eaten a sausage in a month! It was heavenly. Again with mire milk and couldn't find a skyband wireless card anywhere! Very annoying since I'm running up a fair few weeks now of unpublished blogs...
We headed to Mulanjie but had to catch a bus to limbe before a direct mini bus too Mulanjie.
Arrived and found our place to stay quickly which was good. Bit of a confrontation at the buss station since either our driver was in the wrong place or other guy parked too close.. All ok in the end.
Found a guide for tomorrow, and decided were going to risk leaving our stuff at the bottom of the mountain and pay £4 for it to be locked away, just take essentials plus passport and money. Save paying for a porter £7 a day. Maybe 3 days. Although heard that we may not be able to summit sue to the rain. I'm so keen to try anyway..
Staying in very basic lodge, more like a prison cell. But only £1.50 a night. No lights in most the place but dies show the football. So Tom is watching now with a very large crowd. Very tired, big few days ahead.
