Hi everyone,

Arrived in Phuket today, we are staying in a hole of a hotel in the middle of Phuket town, its the sort of place I have been avoiding since leaving Bangkok. This disappointing first response could be due to spending 12 hours between taxis, ferry, coach nda trundelling around with my bag on my back. It could also be the fact that there was a beach party at our hotel that was still going strong when we left at 6:00 am.

We've not been up to much while we were in Koh Pan Ngan other than lazy days in the sun, exploring the island and its various waterfalls, visited a temple and got a traditional herbal steam room treatment. While we were trying to get around the island we hired a skooter, which Liz insisted on driving, while I was looking at a map at the side of the road Liz managed to crash into a puddle, ending up soaking herself and the bike. Liz and the bike somehow managed to come away without a scratch but I think Liz's ego took a buising.

We have updated the photos and should be able to more frequently while were on the main land. But the quest for an international phone card is becoming something of a holy grail. We will be in touch soon.
