Hi Everyone,

Well we left Cairns Yesterday on a Greyhound bus to Mission beach for Christmas. We had a fantastic time in Cairns its such a great city to be in and its got everything you need. The coasch journey to mission beach was stress free and we arrived about 2 hours after we set off.

Its very quiet here which is great the sea is beautiful although were not allowed to swim in it at the moment as its stinger season and if you get stung it can possibly kill you. Someone died 2 years ago here form being stung on the chest. Apparently if it gets your legs you have a cha nce of survival but if it gets your chest it can kil you. Luckily we have a very nice pool at our place so weve decided just to walk along the beach and save the swimming for the pool !!!

We have stocked up on our xmas beverages from the local DRIVE IN off licence (i know it makes no sense you drive in get your alcohol and drive out !!!!!) I got some very cheap Hardeys wine for xmas which was really cheap! Not sure what were doing for our meal yet, maybe a BBQ on the beach.

Anyway just to rub it in thats its hot, hot, hot and were in shorts and a tshirt and will be for xmas.
