Hi All,

We had a fantastic Christmas in Mission Beach, it was really quiet but we really enjoyed ourselves. We both missed a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and i especially missed my pigs in a blanket!!!!! Our Christmas dinner was Ham off the bone, chicken, salad, prawns and loads of fresh fruit. It was good but not quite the smae as being at home!

We moved from Mission Beach on the 27th to come down to Airlie Beach a lot further south, the coach journey took us 9 hours but it seemed to fly by. The accommodation we have here is shared in a dorm but the whole of Airlie Beach is full for New Year so thats all we could get. We leave here on New Years day and we have just booked a 3 day 3 night sailing trip on a maxi racing boat to cruise around the Whitsunday islands which were really looking forward to and we get a free dive on the boat, extra added bonus!

Its really crazy here all the Ozzies seem to come here for Christmas and New Year and all they seem to do is drink all day and all night. Not too sure what were foing for New Years eve yet but im sure that there will be something that we can get involved in and meet some new people.

The weather hasnt been fantasitc over the last few days, we've had a bit of rain and its been cloudy but the sun has peeked theough with all its might today and we're feeling the heat at the lagoon.

Anyway we will write again soon, maybe after the sailing trip and let you all know what a fantastic time we've had.
