Hi Everyone,
Well were in Sydney at the moment, we arrived on Tuesday and we leave at 7 tomorrow night bound for Melbourne. We have had an exciting few days here and enjoyed it.
Yesterday we went on a big long walk through Sydney starting at Hyde park, walking through the botanical gardens and across to the Opera house and the bridge, ending up at the observatory. We then went to Bondi Beach, although the weather wasnt very good we did get chance to meet up with a guy we met on the Whitsundays and we had a very late and long lunch with him and his dad who was visiting.
Today we did much the same walk but we decided after long talks last night that we were going to do the Sydeny Harbour brisdge climb to the sumit of the bridge on the outside. Jack didnt need much persuasion to do it but i needed a little encouragement as im not overly keen on heights. It lasted about 3 1/2 hours and we had a fantastic time admiring the views form the top of the bridge for about 80 miles over to the blue mountains. We were also 134 meters off the ground from sea level. It truely was an experience of a lifetime (Thank you Nan and Grandad as this is what i used my money for my birthday for) When we get chance and the internet is working properly we will put the pictures on and you can see the climb that we did, i cant believe i actually did it !!!!!
Anyway thats all for now as were both really tired from all the walking we have done today.
Speak to you all again soon and hope everyone is ok and not working too hard.
Love Liz and Jack xxx
