Sorry about the photos, i'm having problems with mine, but Jack's should be ok.
Got to Saigon after leaving Phnom Penh, we got a minibus to the border, and the border took ages! We were waiting in a queue where i was first and managed to get through, but then a bus full of tourists came along, and jack was forced to the back of the queue and he got through about an hour later!
We got a different minibus from the border to Saigon. Saigon is absolutely massive and its so busy. going across the street is a challenge. You are advised to walk straight ahead and dont look left or right otherwise you might panic. If you keep walking across slowly they motorbikes will go around you. So they say, we only saw 2 people come off their bikes there!!
We went to the Cu Chi tunnels with the Viet Cong spent the war hiding there. We got to go through the tunnels, but you had to pretty much crawl because they were so small. That evening, we got the overnight bus so that we didnt have to pay for acommodation again. We were the last on the bus and had the back seats which were really rubbish. We ended up getting off at Mui Ne instead of Nha Trang which we were originally going to go. See next blog......
