We eventually landed in Christchurch after our epic flight which became a bit of a killer towards the end - not much to write home about but we decided to get an early night as we had a 7.30 start for the kiwi experience bus the next day.

After seeing barely any of Christchurch (which apparently is still abit of a mess) we headed up to Kaikoura where we had a WHALE of a time, if you'll pardon the pun... We went whale watching on our first day which was amazing, saw dolphins, seals and two huge whales although three-stall got really sea sick and spent the time sleeping on the boat! Don't think he'll be paying $145 anytime soon for another nap! On our second day in Kaikoura we went on an 8k walk with some of the girls we meet at the hostel (one of them is identical to Caitlin - we've got photographic evidence to prove it as its so uncanny). Anyway, Reilly and Oli's quote of sun-cream is for pussies backfired horribly as they are both now sporting awful vest burns haha! Luckily I put some cream on... Later on in the evening the boys will claim 'sun-stroke' got the better of them but we played a few drinking games with the girls which resorted with me putting reilly to bed after him and oli chunning (although oli was still quite ill to be fair)..

This is getting pretty long sorry and i'm forgetting loads of stuff but never mind, last night we got pretty rowdy again in Kaiterri or whatever its called and learnt a lot of new drinking games (luckily there was no chun this time)! This morning we went on a 4hour kayak and saw the split apple rock which was pretty cool. Unfortunately me and reilly's kayak was abit tempremental so the journey back was a bit of a zig-zag and our shoulders are killing now! Good cardio though ;)

Just had an awesome bbq in Westport and decided we're going to take an early night as we've got a fancy dress party tomorrow night - it undoubtly will get loose and there will be some shinans to report home about. Will let you know about them at a later date - AJ xx
