So we arrived in Queenstown expecting great things, and left with not much dignity in tact!
As (so we thought) it was our last night with our favourtie bus driver BLOODY BRIDGET, so our whole kiwi bus met on our first evening in Queestown at Fat Badgers Pizza Restuarant. We had SO much pizza, 20inchers should definitely be the way forward in England - then we hit a couple of the clubs. It turned into quite an expensive night but it was definitely worth it - Queenstown is such a good night out and dare I say it World Bar and even Altitude rival JJs in terms of cheesey-ness.
The next morning we woke up still abit drunk and this was probably a good thing cos me and Reilly had to venture to the Canyon Swing with Mel and Beka to superman off the worlds highest canyon swing! It was a pretty amazing experience, although I don't think I've ever shaken so much in my life. The big dawg had the balls to do another one which was so impressive and he even brought the snaps to prove it. Whilst we thought we were being brave Oli and Cat were at the Nevis Bungy Jump and they managed to do it! Possibly the scariest thing i've ever seen, there was no way I was getting up there - fair play to big ball wall.
The next few nights in Queenstown were pretty loose, I got kicked out of World Bar before 12 which wasn't a highlight and had to take myself home the night after as I was feeling abit worse for wear (although I will hightlight the others have had some big ones as well)!! The days following our nights out consisted mainly of sunbathing by the lake, playing frisbee in the park and of course CHOWING down the might FERG BURGER!
On our final day in QT we walked up the gondala?! Anyway, it was the LONGEST walk ever on a hangover but when we got to the top the views were so beautiful. Best view i've ever seen for sure - will try and get some pics up if my camera dedices to work! In the evening we went to the ICE BAR and had a few more drinks before having to leave for Christchurch the next morning...
It was a long and bizzare journey to Christchurch. I have never seen so many sheep in my life - i'm surprised I haven't met more Welsh people!! Theere were also a fair few pigs a long the way so you'd love it DONNEKY!! We only stayed in Christchurch for one night as if i'm honest its still pretty much rubble - really depressing place... Two days ago we got to Wellington and have been on a MESSY night out since.
The girls left us today so we are all missing them a bit and cooking and washing for ourselves seems abit weird!!! Reilly is down to two pounds in his account and we've all realised we are going out maybe abit too much. But we've got tickets for tomorrow and Friday of the test match at the Wellington Basin so i'll let you know how that goes. LOOK FOR US IN THE CROWD WE ARE MAKING A BANNER
Absolute essay, so i've you've got this far congrats - but surely you could be doing something more productive?! Speak to you all soon, AJ xx
