The last two days have been really fun! Yesterday morning I went into hospital for a quick ward round and then to meet my supervisor, before finding out due to KK being a largely Muslim area, lunch breaks are long, from 11-2 on a Friday, so I got to go home pretty early! After the longest journey of my life, I finally touched down in KK at about 8:30, and it is amazing! I got a taxi to the hotel and the driver was one of the nicest people I have ever met, full of advice and recommendations for my stay. He dropped me off at the hostel with good wishes for my trip.
