Do you want to hear something hilarious? Something DID go wrong...so much for wishing us luck!

Last Sunday was THE WORST DAY of our LIVES. Started off great, Fizz's cousin took us out for breakfast overlooking Bondi Beach and it was lovely, apart from the fact we were in a huge rush! We got to the airport in time and went to check in, they needed to see proof of our flight from Jakarta to Bali and out of Indonesia...that was a problem seeing as we didn't have one. We spoke to various people including a supervisor who claimed it would be fine because we had a flight out of thailand. After faffing about we finally got to check in again but it still was an issue. The women was painfully slow with no sense of urgency, took ages to deliberate whether or not we can get this flight and by the time they said no, we had 5 minutes to book a flight out of indonesia. Yes, you guessed it...then we missed the flight. TWO flights in total. At this point we were close to tears and didn't know what to do. Luckily a lady who booked our flight (straight to bali in the next couple of hours) for real cheap. Still, we were pretty annoyed at the slow staff and are blaming them entirely, our travel agent didn't tell us we needed to do this!

We got to the airport safe and sound, but i did loose my credit card. That was also a bit of a pain!

Anyway, the lucky thing was that we're staying with Vanessa, one of my Mums friends, which is great! Time to get settled and work out what we want to do for however long we're here (we cancelled the flight needed to get into the country).

We went for an explore in Kuta yesterday afternoon, got our toenails painted, had a stroll along the beach, ate some really nice (and terribley cheap) lunch, then went out for drinks! Turned into a proper night out and i'm feeling a little worse for wear this morning.

Will update you when we do more! Just thought i'd let you know we're safe etc.
