Hi guys, really sorry that i havent blogged for a while but we have had a pretty hectic couple of days!

Starting with Fraser island the first time!

Its a really long story and will fill u all in on all the details when i get home but the long and the short of it is that we were put in a self drive camping trip with 40 irish lads out on a piss up weekend! Needless to say that we saw none of the island and even hitched a ride home a day early to escape the horrible lot!

Fraser Island take 2!

When we got back to the lodge we told reception about our traumatic experience and the lads were already in trouble with the police b4 we set off! Anyway, we then complained and the guys at the hostel booked us free of charge into a fraser day tour where we could actually see the island and all its fabulous views! Lake McKenzie is a freshwater sand dune lake and i dont think i have ever seen anything as beautiful in all my life! amazing! I then decided to take an 8 seater plane ride over the isalnd, taking off and landing on the beach! Awesome!

All in all im glad we did the tour as the island was soo beautiful and didnt want to have bad memories of the place form the bad experiences!

Im now in Brisbane after a short coach ride from Rainbow Beach, the hostel we are staying in is nice and clean, with good facilities and is right in the centre of the city! Going to explore the city tomorrow and then go to the Steve Irwin zoo on Thursday as we have heard fab reports of ther place! Then gonna chill Friday as I then fly earlyish on Saturday!

I have lots of good photos of Fraser Island but we only have one camera cable between us and kirsty is using it, will see if there is time to download tomorrow if not then u can see them all when I get home on Sunday.

Missing u all loads and Im ready to come home now, in real need of sme home comforts, like my mum! Neway, love to u all, thanks for the msgs, hope ur job went well today Amy and that mum has been to the doctors!
