Spent the day at Bacalar Lagoon, which is Mexico´s second biggest freshwater lake. Kayaked and swam around. Off to Caye Caulker in Belize tomorrow, which is the second biggest great barrier reef in the world after Australia for some snorkelling. Tulum was amazing, long stretched white sanded beach with lined up coconut trees with cute restaurants on the beach. We treated ourselves a few times to fine dining food and the cocktails kept on coming. Loadsa people did Yoga so we tried out Power Vinyasa Yoga for 90 mins taught by Cameron, a guy who was on the same flight from Havana to Cancun and helped us secure accommodation in Tulum when we arrived late at night. Stayed at this Yoga retreat place with swinging beds, loved rocking ourselves to sleep, bumping bed frames with Aman - cool people staying here too. Cancun is awful, very Americanised. Only stayed there for a few hours before catching a direct bus to Tulum. Sorry to rub it in but weather was extremely lush over here!
