Wow, been surfing around today! I haven't seen this since 2006!

Gosh Aman, you have certainly held great memories in your Travellers Thoughts! It's already overwhelming & great you're back, although my heart do go out to DPM, who shall be missing you to bits. However I am glad you have managed to stick to your guns and lived your dream. In the meantime, enjoy the lasting climax of your home return - I shall write some thoughts down once I have got my journal out somewhere! And lastly, I just want to finally say this here, Aman & Andre, you guys have been absolutely fantastic travel partners and I am very privileged to have been part of Itchy Feet Inc. with 2 school leavers with big eyes, blossoming in the big wide world. I honestly could not ask for better partners than the pair of you, brutes and I can't wait to catch up once again right back in Kensington's Cafe Nero, where we created Itchy Feet Inc.
And the rest of you who have followed this website, thank you ever so much. Without you guys, we would have never had a purpose for this site. For fellow international travellers, I am glad to have met you and always think of you all in your usual lives back home & our little adventures. We also have friends from the UK setting off onto their travels this summer after graduation, wishing you the best of luck and life-changing experiences.

I'm back, I'm back, I'm back in good ole Blighty(!) Yup, you read it right. My oh my, I feel I've been completely transported to another world. Flew back a week earlier than expected to surprise the family and boy, they sure were surprised *grins*. Great to see fresh faces. Am totally in dreamland food-wise, at last taste buds tickled eating chunky chicken and drinking pure cold British milk *sighs heavenly*.
Despite the lip-a-licious food, to be back is culture shocking! Surrounded by so many white faces, weather-wise (not so humid), the rip off prices, eating with a fork and knife, overcoming the habit of taking shoes off before I enter into any room, screening public displays of affection and the list goes on and on.
Even though it has only been a short while since I've parted my ways with the Asrama kids, life now feels empty without them, missing them heaps. I would do anything to stay out in Borneo for longer. Amy, Chez, Georgie, Jade, Kirsty, Madlen (Mads, secretly you know I have a big heart :p) and many more, make the most of your post-placement travels and keep it real out there.
KY, can't believe we won't be living out of each other's pockets anymore but fret not, I'll be up in Edinburgh or with you to the infamous Ardtoe(!) before you know it, already looking forward to our next meet *excited chitters*.
Already got itchy feet naturally to travel more countries but letting reality slowly kick in for the time being. Now that I'm back, you all will probably ask 'What's your favourite country?', don't ask because I don't have one, each country is different and unique in their own way. Seeing that I had a few hours to kill at Changi airport, Singapore while waiting for my long haul flight, I wrote down my final thoughts down that is shared with you all. It is all in the postcard section, happy reading :) x

Dear lovely Aman,
Although I can't compete with Madlen's unbeatable wit, I will however try to make this parting note some what interesting and avoid talking about sheep (Madlen can't resist and has drawn pictures of them all over our bedroom wall).
It's hard to imagine the end is here and that in a few days we will all be so far away from each other. But I think the best thing about this is, that we have been able to have so much fun with awesome fellow GAPpers (such as yourself). Madlen and I are always saying what a legend you are for having achieved so much with your travels and are always interested to hear your stories, knowing it will never be a dull time when you are around, whether just hanging out or dancing. So in that, I hope this whole year has been the most amazing one of your life and that going home will be everything you hope it is.
So I'll say goodbye here at 1:58am after dancing in 'bed' and farewell dinners and hopefully one day you'll come back to Melb so we can hit the town together.
Take care and always stay you, lots of love.
Love Jade xxx

Aman-dude!
Well, what can one say about your lovely, adventurous self? Frankly, not that much (you see, I just can't bring myself to reminisce about our time together because it just brings up those cold memories of you rejecting my love and constantly proclaiming how little you wanted my company.) A tad dramatic, ey?
Ok, enough bulls***. I actually had a brilliant time partying it up in Malaysia (and the sitting around and chatting wasn't half bad either). I applaud your tendancy to dance like no one's watching (at least I'm not the only one) and is it any surprise that there are so many photos of you and I? I think not! What a fantastic model duo! (sidenote: can I photograph your eyes? I love the shape!)
Time to head home and parting is such sweet sorrow (I know, totally original) but I hope we keep in touch...you better email me; we all know how unstable I am and do have the potential to turn into a crazed stalker...obsessing over the girl who rejected my friendship (internationally).
Remember to always floss and carry an umbrella and for god's sake: don't anger a sheep, they're already on the brink of taking over and we don't need a catalyst for the impending revolution.
What the hell am I talking about?
Cheers lovely and eat lots of ice-cream

Lottix, nice to know youve travelled around this website. Be sure to get your butt down to STA travel and in no time, youll be gallivanting around the world. I can ensure you that you wont regret a single minute of it. Kirsty, *glees* good to know that my fashion sense hasnt entirely gone out of the window. Clueless of my whereabouts? Shame on you! *Shakes head* :p Then again, cant say I blame you as have been hopping around South-East Asia for the past month. Im in KK (not KL which is Kuala Lumpur) and have been for the past week. Okay, Im going to go through this one more time and hopefully youll get the picture. KK is Kota Kinabalu, where my school is situated. KK is in East Malaysia. There are two sides in Malaysia, the peninsular side that is joined to Thailand is the West. The East is on Borneo Island. East and West are about 2 hours flight away from each other. Clear now? If not, google in Map of Malaysia. A year? Woah, hard to believe Ive been away for that long! The thought of U.K is mind-numbing *grumbles* but am starting to get a bit jittery with excitement seeing you all. Cant wait to have a tittle-tattle with you all *grins*. x
Kirsty

Andre, didn't take up the opportunity to climb as it didn't cross my mind at the time. I know I travelled with a climber but admiring the limestone cliffs were good enough for me *beams*. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet the deaf man in Ao Nang as the markets weren't on in the weekdays as low-season. But managed to come across a few deaf ladies in Khao San though. Thai sign language certainly makes your mind boggle. As for scrumptious Thai food, quite easy to travel your tastebuds here, no matter how hot the food is. Yum! Although coconut milk is in rather a few Thai dishes, I don't know how the Thai's manage to stay sleek and slender *puzzled look*. Becks, you make it sound as I'm on a diet too, ha, so not! Sounds awesome about the lil book, I know one thing I have to do before I die is to go to the Antartica. Random, I know but it's a dream. Kirsty M (sorry, know quite a few Kirstys now), oi! Who says it has to be Belfast? What's wrong with Birmingham? Although I'm still holding onto you for that Apartment lunch *grins*. Amy, me? Crazy ass person? Never! :p Heaps of thanks for travelling Thailand with me and we sure had plenty of laughs, especially at the fascinating fish farm(!) Great craic eh? *sniggers*. Tempted to tag along with you to China but resisting it. Go for China, you won't regret it and be sure to send me a postcard and catch you around in Belfast, with your new haircut and gear *winks*. KY, (as you should all know by now, it's Kirsty D's Sabah nickname) *cranks up* about the fashion show in order and you not posting your stuff home! Going to be exciting seeing we've lived off repetitive clothes for the past 5 months and have to admit, we've done pretty darn well. Can imagine we'll look so different when we see each other back in the U.K. Our last month is going to be a whirlwind of crazy things happening, bring it on *whoops*. Still in Bangkok and back to Borneo tomorrow, I actually miss the place. What is it going to be like when I leave? Will eventually get round to writing up the postcard at some point. Bet it's all wild back at home with the world cup on! It is here and there are bars/cafes that open till 3am just to watch the matches live from Germany. Keep posting messages and you'll get a postcard and photos in return :p *cuddles* x

Aman, what can I say?! When i first met you in Penang not only did I think you were a crazy ass awsome person for the trip you had just completed but i also thought how cool it would be to get to know you better! I'm priviliged to have taken this amazing/ very random holiday with you!! :-) From our pampering swedish massage sess' to my first snorkling experience! Not to mention our time with coconut- stoner guy/ full on lesbo couple! I have to say though, my personal highlight has to be our visit to the fish farm! From our knowledagable guide to the dirty water which prevented us from actually seeing the fish, the whole experience was just magical! Deffo one to do again! Haha!! It went so quick! Too quick! Can't wait to catch up with you in Belfast, they may not have a fish farm but im sure a good lunch and chat would more than make up for it!
Lots of love, your Thailand buddy
