This blog seems to find puerto escondido by the caribbean, which is not correct. We are by the pacific, i tried to get it to point there, i hope it works.

Yesterday after getting to know our surroundings we left for the beach. I dont know if ive ever felt such warmth! ok, maybe in africa, but it was way too hot! And we decided to walk to the beach, like 30mins.. and there was hardly any shade on the way.

You should have seen my face by the time we got to the beach. I really didnt know what to expect but somehow, in my mind, i had a picture of the beach being something like in Hietaranta.. Hehe, i was all about the WOW! OH MY GOD! WOOOW! when i saw the beach. We saw the beach from this cliff that then had stairs down to the beach. REally steep ones too. The beach was just like in the movies: in its own little gulf,lots of palm trees and huuuge waves! Oh and white sand. We went down the stairand found Dimitri, Ana and Anna at the beach. They had just rented a surfboard and we decided to get one aswell. Im so in love! Surfing is the greatest sport ever! its really tough, takes all your energy like in 15 mins.

Im proud of myself though. I surfed on one wave kneeling and i almost catched many more. It was great fun! I didnt even remember my sundburns on my thighs. I want to do it again!

After surfing we headed to watch the sunset on Zicalo beach (if i remember correctly), but it was a little cloudy so we decided to go have some dinner. I ate babyshark! With garlic. mmm, it was really good! I could say that way better than salmon, of which im used to. We had a crack telling anna , a german girl, about Studio julmahuvi and the german detective sketch. She was laughing so bad! You who know what im talking about, you might guess that i was imitating the actors, shouting WAS! wo ist mein kaffee! (ok i dunno how to write in german).

We went for some coctails also by the beach, but suddenly my throat started to hurt really bad, so we decided to skip the disco and go to bed. It was a really good idea.. i feel a little better now, but still i think im gonna have to skip surfing today and just take it easy.

Oh yeah! almost forgot, Anna got hit by a another surfergirls surfboards fin on her leg and got five stitches! ouch. I hope that wont happen to me.

Now i have to go.. There are people waiting to get online too.
