Welcome to our blog - Island Faffing 2016! Or 'Lynda and Siue's Most Excellent Adventure!'.

This will [hopefully] be a record of our travel adventures on and around a smattering of the southern Inner Hebrides summer (?) 2016, hence the title - Island Faffing.

A little bit about ourselves, we've been bestest pals for - good Lord! how many years? Well suffice to say lots. Over the years we've had many an adventure together from impromptu London trips to a surprise New York holiday right before the Christmas season.

The photo above is of Arran, taken from the mainland on a sunny day. The Isle of Arran is our first destination and we set sail this Saturday, 9th July.

Up to now we've simply just recorded our adventures in old fashioned book and pencil way, but KABOOM! thanks to media technology, the world in now our lobster. We hope you enjoy!
