Cloudy, 31 degrees.
After our breakfast this morning we went back to finally pack for our journey home.
Left our luggage at the desk and then had about 12 hours to kill before our flight back to Melbourne. We headed off to the park near the bay, where we ate our picnic lunch on the lawn. Then headed down toward Mindil Beach and the botanic gardens.
Returned and spent some time near the pool and have a shower before heading off towards the waterfront for dinner. And then back again to wait for the time to get to the airport. For our flight eventually. Very long day.

Our flight left about 2am. And arrived about 6.30am. Then on the Gull bus back to Geelong. We got an Uber back to Mum's to pick up the car. After a quick cuppa and catchup we then drove back home. Claudine was waiting out the front with Mischa! It was so great to see her again. They have been such amazing housesitters! Just perfect. Looked after her like their own and she loves them! And the house is immaculate! And to cap it all off they left us homemade pasta for dinner, croissants, soups and had bought is flowers as well. So lucky to have found them and look forward to having them visit us again soon.

So our journey to the north west is over! After the first hurdle it was smooth sailing and we really enjoyed it! The weather was perfect, blue skies and sunshine every day...so lovely to catch up with Ben, and see where he lives. And to see so many spectacular gorges and waterfalls, just loved it! Now back to the cold winter and dreaming of where the journey takes us next!!!
