No we only saw the full and content lion after his feast. Earlier in the trip was also saw lionesses feeding on a water buffalo. When we returned the following day it was just a piles of bones. It's amazing how nature deals with these things.

I can't believe all the animals you saw. Did you happen to see the lion catch the zebra?

India is a country I will probably not go to in my travels to so it is wonderful to see all your pictures and read your interesting yarns and observations about each place not to mention all the history lessons you are giving. I do enjoy your quips for many of the pictures. And just seeing all those buildings and the artistry is unbelievable. I can not imagine how long it took to build them. As for the spices, I love them also but have to admit I draw the line at having my gums bleed. :-)

No 30 degrees here but we are enjoying lovely weather; however, winter is forecasted to return by the end of the week. I'm sure a lot of people do not agree with me but we do need more snow; after all, it is FEbruary and still winter in Alberta. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures and reading the history/comments on the next interesting leg of your journey. Like you stated "it is all relative" and that is definitely the way to greet the next adventure. Take care.

The pictures and commentary are fabulous. I can't believe you are there. Good thing you got some pictures of yourselves in there. What the heck are you three wearing? Looks like Don is the only north american in the bunch!! Ha, ha. Did you really go on a boat ride up the ganges?? Wow. I am so impressed. And the buildings around the taj mahal and the taj itself. I finally got caught up seeing your photos. They were beautiful. So glad you are sharing your experiences and having a wonderful time. I definitely want to travel to Australia and New Zealand. At the end of this month I'm traveling to the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador for about 10 days. I'm looking forward to seeing new things. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Rob, thought you should know that today they are golfing in Alberta! Just rubbing it in a bit in case there is no golfing in India. We are enjoying fabulous weather but I'm quite sure Mother Nature has a lot more winter in her back pocket. And as another reminder, do not get too complacent re your physical activity level you partook of in Australia and NZ. You'll want to stay in good shape to outrun those elephants, gorillas and maybe even the occasonal tiger when you get to Africa. Just saying . . .

All kidding aside, keep those fabulous pictures and blogs coming. They are being thoroughly enjoyed. What wonderful lifetime memories the two of you are creating. And what an interesting way to look for that summer weekend home! Better save some of those airmiles for the getaways.
