Home sweet home! We arrived home safely late Saturday afternoon after five months on the road and were thankful to be greeted by Wayne Lang's friendly face at the airport. Each day has been a new adventure and the high lights will not soon be forgotten. We sure live in amazing times when one can cover so much of the planet in such a relatively short time - and experience fall in South Africa in the morning and spring in Italy in the afternoon. Each country we visited had something unique to offer and we return home much 'richer' as the result on the experiences we had along the way. The hospitality of friends in Australia, hiking gorgeous mountains in New Zealand, unique cultural experiences in India and Europe and amazing wildlife encounters throughout Africa are just a few of the memorable moments we reminisced about before boarding the plane to come back to Canada.
Initially our house felt like a mansion after spending so much time in much smaller hotel rooms. Thanks to Mark and Amber for taking good care of the place while we were away. It felt good to put 'those same old outfits' away and end our nomadic ways. However it is also sad that such a journey has come to an end. That said, I don't think it will be long till we are planning our next adventure as there's still much more to see and do.
We hope that you have enjoyed being a part of this 'trip of a lifetime' and we look forward to connecting with many of you in the coming weeks. Be sure to follow your own dreams - we did and highly recommend it! Take care.

Rosalind Innes So glad you are back home safe and sound Rob and Sheila. And by the picture you look the same. You would think such a trip would change a person somehow, but of course we can't see it from the outside, but I'm sure you have a slightly different outlook on our Canadian ways now. I hope you still like us and will stick around home for a bit though before you go on your next adventure!!! Thanks for sharing it all with us, with your great blog. It's been an amazing trip for us all!!!
