Hello everyone, We are back from the most amazinfg boat trip around the whit sunday islands.... yes it rained, but how unreal would it seem if it hadn't?? We got onto Powerplay on Thursday morning when it was sunny and beautiful... the catamaran had a 3 man hottub upfront which could soon quish in 7! The sea started to get pretty rough, however being the adventurous people we are, we loved it! standing up front reinacting the Titanic ofcourse! that afternoon it was time to really experience the Great Barrier Reef.... lots of colourful fishies, some pretty big and scary in my opinion but just amazing to see, and join in as you swim along with them giggling away to yourself when you realise how silly you must look to the wee guys!!! We saw Nemo!!!!!!!!! yay!!!! Haha, yes this was my highlight... however i feel it is now safe to say as we are back on land that Rose saw a shark whilst snorkling! I know I know, I'm really sorry Judy, I wasn't there to fight it off for her... I let your your crazy daughter out of my sight for 2 minutes and Bam... she taking on the sharks! haha, no worries though, she came up with a full on cheeser beaming out under the goggles!

We got back on the boat hung up the wet suits and guess what happened... hehe, yep... i felt like part of Scotland had come over to join in on the birthday celebrations! Rain rain rain!!!!! So that evening we got fed a wonderfull meal by our on board host -Bo- and chilled under the protection powerplay gave to us... yes we were laughing at all the open sailing boats which had rows of people in yellow oil skins getting wetter and wetter! then after dinner the crew sneaked up on me with a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday! Haha, good times! BUT actually i am missing out the best part of the day.... Rose and Kathrin woke me up with a chocolate cake, candles, And a bottle of champagne... now that is what I call THE way to be woken up! not to mention their harmonious voiceing singing to me =p! absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!! then onto the 26th ( i have to say here HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIEL... I hope it was a great one! )and more rain... infact all day, but hey, we were still smilling! we were off to see whitehaven beach voted number 1 in the world for ten years!!!!! so as the team our boat had become, we put on the stinger suits(we put purple bin bags over the top with some funny wrighting) and headed off through the forest to find the beach we were told so much about! We jamp about running up and down the beach taking pictures and generally just having a great time! then we got back to the boat.. saw some turtles which was really cool..! Did more snorkeling and the colours were stunning!!!! out of the water and into the hottub!!..This was our last night with Kathrin -the time has passed far too quickly- But it has been fantastic and Rose and i will miss her company alot alot alot! we love you Kathrin, thanks so much for taking the time out to come enjoy Oz with us!!!!!!!! Onto today... the three of us woke up at the crack of dawn, catching the sunrise... if there had been one instead of the clouds =p! So we Launched ourselves off the boat and snorkelled over to the reef.. again it was fun and we saw some fun things however the visibility was nothing of what we were seeing before, so we really appriciated how great a day we had managed on the 25th! we had breakfast and then the boat was on the go again.. heading back to the mainland! So this is when the sun returned, giving us a glorious return journey and a good chance to sit upfront and enjoy the motion of the boat over the waves.. so now we are off to get in a proper good bye to Kathrin and hopefully a good nights sleep! love from Bud and Berry - see if you can figure that one out =) xoxox
