Thurs 21st May I have a new room and new roommates and it is BLISSFUL!!! After requesting to move on Tuesday, I had to wait til yesterday morning to actually do it. Went out with the old roomies from 104 on Tuesday eve, to do a pub quiz at a pub in Glebe. Was fun, we had laughs and came last! Nice to have an amicable parting, I thought. Monday 18th May. It has been a busy week, as every one seems to be! Was only at the uni one day last week, on Monday.. only one prof needed help with anything and what with my kindof having lost enthusiasm for the whole thing, I didn't volunteer to do any more days than that. I left home three months ago, tomorrow! It must be the longest I have gone wihtout going home, even at uni, I never went that long without at least going home for the weekend. Aren't I big and grown up, ha! Work at the pub is good, I'm actually quite enjoying it. The clientele are something else, but that makes it more entertaining! After three weeks of non-stop searching, I finally got a job of sorts! It is only part-time, 23hours/week over three evening shifts, but the pay is ok.. I will still look for extra work for the daytimes when I am not at the uni, because I would really like to break even with money, after rent, and not sure 23hours is enough for that! Two-and-a-half weeks gone now, another week and I will be halfway through my time in Sydney! The uni stuff is great, on Thursday I went out on a boat in Sydney Harbour with one of the researchers to collect data from experiments she is running at nine different sites in the harbour, so awesome to see the Opera House from the 'other' side, and Harbour Bridge from underneath!
