Today Matthew and Ollie saw Big Ben (also known as Big Bentley from Cars2). We took a walk past horse guards and then a double decker bus to Buckingham Palace. We had a picnic lunch in Green Park overlooking the Palace and after watching squirrels play in St James Park we played in the cute little playground for a while.
We took the tube via Victoria Station to pick up our ferry tickets for tomorrow and then headed out to Wimbledon to order Geoff's suit for the wedding and do a bit of shopping.
Preparations for the Olympics are well underway, and we had quite a few detours today to get around areas closed for construction of venues. However overall we haven't found London to be too crowded and it has been quite easy to get around.
