We arrived back in Bristol last night and made our way to stay with Luke and Hez. This morning we headed into Bath with Luke and Hez to see the Roman Baths. The site was much bigger than I expected, and the history of the site was fascinating. Matthew and Oliver however were soon tired of playing with the audio tour handsets and so we skipped through the complex fairly quickly and went into Bath for some lunch. After lunch we went to the playground next to the Bath Botanical Gardens, which has to be the best playground we have been to so far in Europe, and we have been to some pretty good ones! It was an enormous complex of interesting play structures, huge slides and sandpits, flying foxes and swings. Tonight Hez's parents, Ian and Mel and Hez's brother Dan came to dinner. It was lovely to finally get to spend some time getting to know them, as we were away last time they came to Australia. We will see them all again in March next year when they come to Australia again.
