We were on the run yesterday and the I pad was left at home I didn't have time to blog, we went to see Sylvia's house, Victoria & his mother are both ill unfortunately we have come at a bad time, some sort of flu is going around zia Lidia & her mother in law didn't come to my birthday (but she sent a lovely cake) (heeeeheee) as she had a temperature.
Silvia has a beautiful house a colour combination of the Power colours, honestly I am sure in another life she lived in Adelaide & was there "cheer squad leader", the walls are white the crockery is black (IKEA) black plates, there is a feature above the sink and the fire place with down lights where they have painted the edges / border teal a bit darker than the power colours (lol) the feature has been very well, also in her main bathroom the hand basin has the draws a picture of a motorcar as a feature unbelievable but well done, I was going to take pictures but she has a video and she will give me a copy to show u all.
I have learnt how to make a meat loaf,cheese & egg polpett (formaggio e uovo ) & the famous "torta Americana that is 3 ticks off my bucket list when I come back I will finish my quest (lol) of learning how to make things. Also yesterday I caught up with Mary & Camillo it was great to see them again.
They are leaving for Scotland on Saturday morning by bus to the airport.
We are leaving Fossacesia today on the 5.25 bus to Rome, on are arrival we left by Prontobus @ 10 am but we didn't arrive at the bus stop at Policentre until after 2 pm Rome's roads we're gridlocked with traffic accidents it took us almost 1/2 an hour to leave the city onto the auto-strata where zio Erminio was waiting.
