Arrived at Leonard da Vinci airport - the weather was raining and we came off the plane by stairs, a shuttle bus took us into the airport went through checking passports then waited for our luggage,spoke to a couple from Brisbane but native of NZ who were on their way to Sorrento then back to Rome for a 28 day cruise.
We collected our luggage then caught the Prontobus to Lanciano
We left Rome at 10 am well the radio announced that Rome's roads were blocked by many accidents
