Well - time to move on. From Banff to Jasper a 288km drive! Most of this drive was on the 'Icefields Parkway' - WOW! Every turn was a jaw dropping view, a truly unforgettable drive. We stopped off at Peyto Lake - fantastic place - see picture. The flowers up there were magical, at their best in the warmth of summer.

On the next section of our drive we came into Jasper National Park and within minutes we saw our first bear - munching on berries at the road side. A beautiful Black Bear. This was soon followed by Elk & Caribou on the outskirts of Jasper.
