Back in Antigua to chill for a couple of days then of to Copan in Honduras.
Volcano was spewing out lots of smoke last night. Still not seen lava though.

Island Of Flores, Guatemala
Got the night bus from Flores down to Guatemala city. It saved a night's board but didn't get masses of sleep. Susanne slept like a log mind.

Niall Kay Ian. A friend of mine is starting work in Antigua, this month. Mick is running a restaurant and bar out there. Depending where you are in relation to him. I'll try to find out where he is. Pop in and have a pint. He is a top bombing Geordie. Small world.

ianandsusanne Yes we were glad too. Although it was rather obvious today he wasn't legit. Makes you keep your guard up even more which is no bad thing here. How's things back home mate?

ianandsusanne Hi mate. We are in Flores now, a island in a lake in northern Guatemala. Off to ancient Mayan temple called Tikal at 4.30am. It's certainly all been one hell of an experience so far. :-).
