Hi guys, glad to hear you had a great time in the jungle. Sorry no write but the internets been playing up and Mitch and I have had a pretty s***e week to say the least. Mitchy came down with gastrobug last week and was so ill that the doctor started talking about admitting him to hospital. Thankfully though hearing that he began to perk up a bit and is now his usual whirling dervish. Then my mum and I got it and so Mark's parents came up at the weekend to help out and ended up with it too. All the while Mark is working (sunning himself) in Portugal (due back today) not able to do anything to help. It will be good to have him home even if its only for a week before he goes off to Alaska. Anyway better go, I've got to go up to Waddo to get Mark and I want to go and look at some cars in Lincoln before he lands. Miss you loads Thomi

Hello Everyone
Well we made it alive from the jungle however I (C) have at a rough count over 250 mosquito bites, luckily none from the Jaguar!
We had a fantastic time, hundreds of piccies and 8 days to write up so been here hours and too cold to stay so got as far as day 2, next installments later.....peru time so dont hold your breaths.
Hope you´re all doing well, thanks for the messages, Thomi & Tina where are you? Mum & Dad J sounds like you had a great time, we look forward to seeing some piccies.
Lots of Love

Hi there, enjoy the travels but be careful. I was mugged at knife point and we escaped an an attempted car hijacking(in Pretoria and Johannesburg). Not trying to worry you but if you go to Africa this is par for the course. It great that you are having a good time in S America, its one region we havent been to yet and we'd appreciate your thoughts / recommendations. My business travel these days is a little more mundane, Leicester, Bristol, Leeds and Gateshead. Not sure if you know but Lisa and Tony are getting married next May. All the best Steve & Bernadette.

hello,
We're here in cusco with our new camera ,we ended up replacing it with the same model, but we couldn't get this machine to read the new memory card so no photos of the Inti Raimi festival to show you yet. The show was their equivavlent of Glastonbury at stone henge but again we were targetted buy theives as our bag was slashed. Luckily nothing was stolen and we're ok. getting a little fed up with it and being cold so we went out and bought bags, warm clothes and presents for a bit of retail therapy. Tomorrow is our last day before the jungle for 8 days. Very excited.
We hope mum and dad J are having a great time in the states and Mark in Portugal despite our early exit. we've only just heard the news so if anyone has any comments about the game we would like to hear them.

Sorry to hear about the camera getting nicked but pleased that you're seeing some amazing places already. The memories will stay even if you don't have photos. Not much to report here but it's Wimbledon so of course it's been raining here in South West London! Tina x

4-2 to the ingleterre!
Thats to start on a good note, there needed to be one at least.
We are in Puno, its a s*** hole, we had our camera nicked and spent a while at the police station trying to report it, they didnt really seem to give a damn.
We´re ok though, freezing our butts off, already have our ticket out of here for tomorrow.
I´ll let Ian write a postcard as my fingers might drop off.
Claire xx
