Hope you like our journals finally up to date(claires just spent 6 hours typing it up!), left the rest of the Alaska and Honolulu photos in Nadi with our stuff so will have to wait for them.

We?re off to the highlands tomorrow then up to a remote island to do one last dive (we?re addicted!) so will be out of touch for a week or so.

Sorry if this is a secret but CONGRATULATIONS to my lovely sister Sarah and future brother in-law Steve, who are getting married next year! Thanks god after we get back or we?d have to find the money for a ticket back. We?re really chuffed, loads of love.

We're still here, just been on very remote islands for aweek or so.
This place is like paradise, although it rained the first two weeks, we've had sun for a few days. We've been island hopping, wlaking on amazing beaches, hiking up little islands to see great views, really chilling out, its fiji time here and we all know it. Mana is great, did you stay at Ratu Kinis? did papa joe work there and rachel? we were chief and chiefess all dressed up very funny.

Kava looks and tastes like dirty water, and numbs your tong and throught then makes you really lazy but sleep well.....all good fun

We're off to dive 5 times in the next two days, to some of the most famous dive sights, very excited.

Of course youre still welcome Gezza, if its ok with kevin? maybe we could roast a turkey?

Anyone any news about Tobes and Sarah's wedding? Any piccies?

Hello hope you are both okay and enjpoying yourselves. Mum and dad are up at the mo. Mum helping with garden (well more than helping, me helping) and doing finishing touches to house. We looked at dore road back garden from the woods. v sad . they have got a giant summer house thing just before the apple trees. looks awful. Chicken house all over grown.

No gossip to provode as yet. Oh there is Cov and sam are coming back in February. So you will see them, just before they get back. Harry and woody are going to america 4 two weeks. Finally its nice and hot here after really bad rain. Typical as back at work in a week. All went on Al's boat yesterday. Its on water and everything and moves. Empty on the indide though.

I stayed at the beach house too. Hope you enjoying mana island I loved it. Are you going to castaway island. Have you had kava yet, if you drink enough it makes you trip and is good for you, antioxidant.

we now have velux windows in attic and are next going to take down stud wall, so nearly getting there. Just attic, stairs and kitchen to go and then the outside of the house.

Hi guys hope you are both well, Fiji sounds fantastic. MItchy and I have had a busy few weeks while Mark away. Wev'e been on 'Thomas the Tank Engine' and to the farm etc.. Mark's due back tonite for 2 weeks and is off until next Tues which is nice. Wer'e off to Martyn & Zoe's wedding at the weekend with MItchy donned up in his penguin suit!! Its lashing it down here in Fiji but we've had one day of sunshine. It was paradise, strolling along a white sandy beach, picking up shells and watching the waves splash over the reef (and a spot of scuba diving too). We're off the the real white sand islands tomorrow for a week.

The internet here is dreadful today and we've a lot of journal catching up to do. we'll do it soon . promise.

Hi you two, good to hear you arrived safely in Figi. Great piccies of Alaska. Things are good here. We've had a great few weeks with Mark being at home, he's off to Greece on Thurs. Mitchy is his usual whirling dervish self, currently sporting a beauty of a bruise on his right cheek where he fell off the slide. We took him to a theme park especially for the under 10's last week and he absolutley loved it. His speech is coming on really well picking up new words daily and he's now remembered how to mooooo! I've decided to give the selling books thing a go. Don't know if I'll make any decent money out of it but at least I'll be able to get mitch some cheap books, and it prolongs the day when I have to get a proper job.... Weather is completly mad at the mo; hot and humid one minute then torrential downpours and humid the next. We even had an indoor swimming pool last week when the garage flooded.. Anyway better go before I bore you with my ramblings. Miss you loads Thomi

We're in Fiji now, arrived very tired yesterday at 6am, found a hostel and had a proper sunday day of rest, by the pool, and slept lots, we lost a day, 12hours in front of the UK.
It seems nice so far, we've only seen the airport and the hostel and just walked through the cemtre of Nadi (pronounced Nandi) we're doing some tinternetting for a while to work out a plan, then off to the south coast to camp at a backpacker resort, our book is out of date and so are the prices, ah well the weather is nice for camping, not too hot. Cant wait to see some beautiful beaches.
Will slowly be updating our site, getting a bit behind we know.

Many thanks to John and Carol who we met in Denali, you were so kind letting us share your bear scat pudding (we saw lots of similar puddings and had a very near miss bear encounter, the people behind while shouting 'hey bear' nearly walked into one) and your advice was great, we've been up in the north of the island.
Anyway off for food, seems wierd that its 8:15pm and dark! alaska would have another few hours of daylight.
