Hi both of you. Spoke to Tina last night and the Hene family arrived back yesterday morning. She said what a good time she had with you. Steve and Bernie called in yesterday . Did we tell you that they are just finalising buying a house in France ? It seems as though everyone is trying to escape this country. Lisa is getting married next year on 7th May in Derbyshire. Will you be back by then ?
Jenny (Davies) has gone off to Chester University and Alene is already there so the Davies household is dwindling rapidly.
Although it might be cold where you are this weekends weather has been awefull !!!! Gale force winds and horrible rain. This morning is even worse. Makes us all the more jealous.
I promised to let you know about the Wolves. Since we spoke they have had 2 matches. Wolves 2 Cardiff 3 and West Ham 1 Wolves 0. Not good. Nothing more to say about them.
Went to Edinburgh last week for 3 days. Really good. Had a great time. Mom is going to stay with Tina & Ant (and Cara) tomorrow and Wednesday. Is anyone out there working apart from me ?
Glad you're both fit and well. Hope your camper van problems have gone away. Keep enjoying yourselves. Lots of luv Mom & Dad xxxxx

Hello everyone,
We're back in Auckland again to meet up with Tina whose flying in for a one day family re-union. We've spent the last few days up in the Northland in Kerikeri, visiting Waitangi and a day trip to 90 mile beach via a Kauri forest. We're heading back up there again after Tina has gone to pick up our van (Delia) from the garage, don't ask. She could be cutting our world trip short. Looking forward to heading south to meet the relies.
Many many thanks to Cov and Sam who put us up for a week here in Auckland when we first arrived. Thats another long story involving Delia.

How's Bertha? Are you still stuck in Auckland or are you off into hot springs or under glowworms? U Doug tells us the apple blossom is breaking so it should be very pretty and it can't possibly be anything like as cold as it is here! Our chickens are VERY slowly livening up. No signs of an egg after the first TEENY WEENY one! Waterfall is looking good! Wine-picking this weekend so we'll have to be good LIKE you and not drink too much!
Glad Mitch is driving again!
Happy travels

Hi from wet england, autumn is finally here and it is wet and windy. I've really enjoyed your postcards from Fiji, it sounds and looks so exotic. I'm looking forward to seeing piccies of NZ. I was interviewed for a part time job yesterday but I quickly left as they hadn't said that the hours were spread over 5 days in the week, just no good for my current lifestyle!! I'm still enjoying not working!! my weeks are so... busy,eg. 3 hour lunch with friends this week. Take care, why not phone home soon? mom xxx

Kiora!
In Auckland, now with a hangover thanks to a few pints of bitter(ahhhhh finally) in Sam and Cov's local. Its pretty cold here but its rapidly getting warmer. We've decided to buy a camper van from a great backpacker market set up especially for people like us to buy and sell vans and cars. It sounds like we are at the start of the boom season so by the time we come to sell we should make a fair whack (if it survives). We're going to plan our trip asap and get out of Auckland. Its a nice place but its not NZ by all accounts. We're really loking forward to seeing the family and some Lord of The Rings scenery.

Hi guys, hope you arrived safely in NZ. Sorry about poor contact recently but we are still having major internet probs here. Wer'e all fine. Mark is back off to Italy tomorrow for 2 weeks to cover the paraolympics. Then when he gets back he's off to Vegas!!!! Hard life!!! Mitchy is well. He dosn't stop for a second and is really into choo choo's, nee nors and tractors at the moment. If you get a chance to take any piccies of fire engines or trains he would love it. 'Thomas' the tank engine is god!! He's beginning to string senences together now and has become my little parrot copying anything I say. He sang rain rain go away to me yesterday (which he must have learnt at nursery) which was really really cute. Martyn & Zoes wedding was good. Mitchy looked fantastic in his penguin suit. (Wev'e got loads of piccies, but I can't upload them at the mo). We where down in London last weekend and on the way back popped in to see Joanne and Billy who have just had a baby Cameron. Made me really broody. I'm trying to get this book thing up and running, going okay so far, so every spare moment is spent doing that. I've also joined the committee for the local mums and tots (getting in with the locals!!). Anyway better go and wake the boy up from his nap. Miss you loads Thomi. p.s. Max and Jenny thanx for sending Mitchs toy car journeys are alot easier again now.
