As many of you may know I was deeply concerned about the possibility of the University being a Sh*thole after hearing so many horror stories about Chinese Universities. Well I am pleased to say that my fears were completely unfounded. The University is beautiful, there are gardens everywhere, lots of benches for chilling, cafes and things like that.

The Students all seem nice and loads of them keep wandering over to talk to me, those that don't seem to just have a giggle and scurry away shyly, which I try not to be offended by!

The campus is very different from what we are used to in the UK because instead of using lots of small buildings they use massive corporate style buildings. These are so large that the two Teaching buildings (one of which is the building opposite my flat) can hold 10,000 of 12,000 students at any one time.

Apparently they are very high tech but I have not had a chance to look inside them yet!

Anyway that's just a quick overview of the Uni I will try and post more pictures soon.
