Well who knew we had a TEXAS in Australia! We crossed the NSW/QLD border at a little town called Texas on the Dumerasq River which is currently very low but when flooding covers a huge area. Travelling on the inland roads leads us to lots of unexpected waterways that are just perfect for camping. We have been travelling inland for some time now, through drought affected areas of NSW and today just crossing the border into Qld. The roads are often shared with cattle being moved to where they can find feed. The herd we have in our photos are from 300kms away.
