Pictures will have to wait a bit longer, as the hostel computer is not cooperating very well. I am quite excited to finally have made it to Scottland. Yesterday I had a fantastic encounter with some Daleks before heading around Cardiff Bay. I ended the night at a local pub that was having an open mic night. I spent most of today in transit. At times I almost forgot I was 4,000 miles from home. The English countryside looks much like the landscape of Daviess County and southern Indiana. Occasionally though we would pass a scene so storybook-esque that I was forced back into the reality of travel. I loved watching the English cottages surrounded by hand built stone fences with sheep grazing in the front yard.
Tomorrow I will once again attack the issue of uploading photos, in the evening of course. Early tomorrow I am off for a day in the Scottish Highlands. Bring on tours of Loch Ness and some distilleries. I am certain the order of those tours will correlate directly with my sightings of Nessie.
