Have spent the past few days scared to leave my house, crazy anarchist losers took over Edinburgh city centre in protest with the G8 summit coming up, literally trapping customers in stores which were forced to bolt their doors as crazy masked men stood outside with large sticks. Rosie and I finally braved town today and I have to say, the only good that came of those riots is the huge police presence... yummy in uniforms. Seriously though, they totally trashed the gardens by the castle pulling up all the flower beds and throwing the memorial benches. It makes me so angry. Okrant over, but you know how much I love this city. Had a banana pancake today and thought of you. Can't wait to see you when you get back, gutted that I didn't get to before you went away. not wanting to cause concern but I think em has shacked up with a jungle gypsie or something (johnny depp type lookalike comes to mind...mmm) as she hasnt posted a message since she disappeared to make peace with herself and miss haddril in the jungle. Hope ur having fun - spitt spent a lot of time in the jungle so if you have any queries about stuff do email her (im thinking, how to swing from the vine things. that is what you do, right?)

Just got in from work... it's nearly 3am... so jealous of you and your travels! The make poverty history march is in town tomorrow, never seen so many hippies in my life! So many shops have boarded up their windows on Princes St, it's pretty scary. Gap are living dangerously and are planning to stay open tomorrow... hmmm good luck to them! Enjoy the jungle, I couldn't handle the mini rainforest on Fraser Island in Oz, so many lizards and bugs... yuck! I know you're made of harder stuff though. EM.... Rainforest eh? Just use leaves to dry yourself off, much easier than a boots towel. Back to nature I say. To change the location, go into your site, log on as yourself (obviously) and go into the settings bit I think, and there you canchange the time, place etc.... Hang on, I'll just check mine.....

Great to hear from you, gald to know you arrived safely but it sounds as if you had a very very long and tiring day! Hope you find a bigger towel before you go off in the jungle!! The drink sounds scrummy, but what is it, perhaps KP can tell me. Have fun, I will be with David at the Design show this weekend, call us if you can, but the jungle drums may not be working out there. His results are out on 6th July, keep our fingers crossed.

hey kiddos, just in the hostel at costa rica, sorry i didnt ring last night madre it would have been about 4am!!! woke up at 6am local tica time, which is a bit crazy have basically had no sleep and so am a little hypo, everyone seems pritty nice from the few i have met so far doing the rainforest thing. thanks for the messages even if they do have a cheesey tone... ummm cheese... look i jsut want to say that one thing i have learned so far, never buy a travel towel from boots they are the smallest thing in the world, and that tootsie rolls taste gross, but here is to reeses peanut cups!!!!!!!! kitts u know what i'm on about!!!! yummy... well off to the jungle tomorrw, slightly wetting my knickers but i'm sure i'll have a laugh and be a new biology buff, just like miss hadril wanted!!!!!!!! well better love u and leave u, oh and kp how do u change the bit on the website that says current location... well love u all and i'll write when i can!!!!!!!!!!
