Speedy Delta Ferries took us from Dumaguete to the mystic island of Siquijor, or at least that's what tourists are lead to believe. It's a diddy little island with a circumference of approximately 72 kilometres. The roads are significantly quieter than other places we've visited so we took the opportunity to hire a motorbike to explore the island. James did a marvellous job and after a day of sightseeing we made it home in time for an impressive sunset, our first since we left Africa. A couple of hours after sundown another storm passed over giving us a rather spectacular lightening show over the sea. The down side of this beautiful spectacle was an electricity blackout and as such no fan, another hot and sticky night!
