Tough nite last night as air conditioning is not usual in Spain we are finding. So you have either an overhead fan or table top fan blowing on you while you sleep under a thin sheet

In addition the beds in this resort are not to our liking. We enjoy a firm mattress but these are like sleeping on plywood . Dom got up and slept on the couch

We had a storm last night with plenty of thunder but for some reason I never saw lightning. Weird.

Woke up and went to the balcony where next suite down “naked German man” was standing in all his glory having a smoke. Oh boy bad naked German guy.

Kerry and I met for breakfast buffet which was good and then for a walk to the beach couple blocks away. The sand is black, which you feel must be dirty, but it’s not . So that’s where we head after breakfast to spend the day.

Breakfast was good with freshly squeezed orange juice. We then went and sat st the pool while mom slept. I decided to go to the beach and I loaded up and walked the couple of blocks where I bought a litre of beer for 1.50 euros. Then to the beach I went

I sat for an hour just people watching and drinking my San Miguel beer which is nice. I don’t know if it’s allowed so I drink it like a bum out of the bag.

Then for a quick swim In The ocean where the water is clear and warm. Pick up my stuff and head back to see if periwinkle has awoken.

Off we go to the pool and have some more beer and munchies. That’s followed by a nap, a walk to the shops and back for cocktail hour and then supper .

Basically this part of our trip is r and r.
