Hi there,

Well, Harry and I find ourselves in Cuba this evening, unfortunately, not the country, but the town in Missouri. We decided to leave the Driftwood resort a day early on Thursday and head home as both of us are anxious to return to our pets.................and our kids. We left Vero Beach on Wednesday morning, bright and early and made our way to some town in Alabama, not sure where we were but we ended up staying the night at a Walmart parking lot. It was a nice day of driving, and quite uneventful. Woke up this morning and got back on the road, we crossed over to Tennesse, went through Memphis, which is where this photo was taken. We were crossing a bridge and saw a building in the shape of a pyramid, very nice. We continued on and crossed into Missouri, so here we are in Cuba for the night in a hotel. It would only make sense to do more sight-seeing on the way home, but being gone this long, we are now ready to get home, that and the fact that the hot-tub at home is apparently broken, and we must get home to fix it.

The drive today started with thick fog which then turned to rain, which lasted all day which made for a gloomy day but hopefully the sun will come out tomorrow. That's it for now.
