Super tired when we woke up. Most of the zombies came down to breakfast and got on the bus and went back to sleep immediately. Got up really late today. It was very hard to get moving. We stayed at the Colony South Hotel. The outside and lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are dated. Breakfast was excellent. There was pancakes, eggs, grits, sausage, cereal, and yogurt. We met Sasa today. She is pretty cool. Seems nice enough and has lots of experience. Today was kind of crazy. We started by leaving out of our hotel in New Jersey and drove to Philadelphia. The ride was about three hours long but most of all the kids slept the whole way. Even me. We got into Philly about 11:30 and immediately went to the Rocky stairs. It is always fun to see the kids run up them and jump around at the top. Awake and ready to go! We woke up ready for the second day of our trip! The hotel had a very nice breakfast spread. There were two Belgian waffle makers with fruit and whipped cream, yogurt, breads, muffins, bagels, fruit..whole and cut fruit salad, cereals, eggs, sausage, juices, milk, hot chocolate, and coffee. AND WE'RE OFF!!!!! Day 1! We met at the Greyhound station in Norman. I got there at six and was able to have plenty of time to check in money, paperwork, and medications. We took a few take off pictures and hung around. The bus was supposed to be there at 6:50 am, but it showed up at 7:30 instead. Already starting to reconsider DFW for next year.
