Day 1 - Normandy

After surviving a long 13 hours flight from Singapore to Paris, we finally arrived at our destination at 7am. What we were thankful was that Benji wasn't such a fuss on the plane; in fact, he kinda slept almost throughout the flight except for occasional feeding and playing time. It was quite an enjoyable ride.

Today we were mostly on the road. We took a train at the airport and it was about 1pm plus when we finally arrived at Rennes. Thankfully, Novotel, the hotel which we stay, is only five minutes away. With many luggages and a baby in tow, I can't imagine the exhaustion if the hotel is very far away from the train station.

We got ourselves freshened up and thereafter walked leisurely along the streets, in search of our lunch. It was just a simple meal but very satisfied because we were very famished by the time we had lunch.

Next, we continued our aimless stroll. The weather was chilly and it was perfect condition for us to just roam the streets. Anyway, we had no plan in mind for we just wanted to take it easy on our first day.

Dinner was at about 7pm. We dined at this lovely place - Le Galopin - which served very good food. Totally no regrets to choose this place as our dining venue.

We were back in the hotel by about a quarter past 8. After penning down this entry, I went to bed about 930pm.
